In an effort to encourage people to return to the cinema after the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, London Mayor Sadiq Khan and Luna Cinema organised a series of open-air screenings of blockbuster hits at the iconic Trafalgar Square.

As a bar and event consultant, I was appointed to provide beverages, logistics, staffing, and an effective bar service to the almost 8,000 guests who attended the event over the bank holiday weekend in the summer of 2021.

During the inaugural year of the Kingdom of Winter event at ExCel London, I headed the Customer Services Department. I formed and managed a dedicated team for this high-capacity, multi-date family event held throughout the Christmas period (8th December - 7th January), welcoming up to 20,000 visitors per day.

My role encompassed leading my team through resolving intricate customer concerns, overseeing refunds, managing health and safety protocols, handling onsite emergencies, and offering guidance through both in-person and online channels.

As a bar consultant, I was responsible for managing all aspects of the bar service at the grand opening of the private members club, The Old Sessions House, in September 2022.

I ensured a seamless experience for guests by planning and directing service at 5 different bar locations across 3 floors. My team was able to handle a high volume of guests, serving over 600 people throughout the evening in this beautiful and historic venue.

I was approached to create a brand campaign and an alternative Valentine’s event that seamlessly aligned The FriendZone with Puttshack White City. This collaboration blended social connection with interactive entertainment, bringing a fresh, unconventional approach to Valentine’s celebrations. I developed a targeted marketing and PR strategy to introduce The FriendZone’s unique concept to Puttshack’s audience while managing the event execution with a small team. By leveraging Puttshack’s established brand presence, we amplified The FriendZone’s visibility, creating a high-energy, memorable experience that reinforced both brands as leaders in fostering connection and fun.

Journalist, wine, and cocktail expert Aleesha Hansel hand-selected our original recipe Gin-based cocktail, 'Sainte Peppercorn' to showcase the perfect tipple for your Valentine’s Day, (or any other day for that matter)! They went down a treat with Alan and panelists Maureen Lipman and Gyles Brandreth.

Established in 2015, AfroBeach was a premier summer event in London, known for its celebration of Afro-Caribbean beach party culture. Hosted at exclusive, pop-up beach-themed venues around the city, the event brought together the best of food, music, and vibes from the Islands and the Motherland.

Guests enjoyed a diverse range of music genres including AfroBeats, Dancehall, AfroHouse, and Reggae while enjoying activities and attractions, as well as delicious food options from top African, Caribbean, and fusion food vendors.

Hailed by Timeout London and Eventbrite (on a few occasions) as one of London's top monthly events, my co-founded original networking concept, built on 'Social Skydiving - the art of talking to strangers’ allowed Londoners from all walks of life to connect. The FriendZone event was all about changing the negative connotation of getting "friend-zoned".

During our residency at Shoreditch’s BOXPARK, attendees got the chance to play games, mingle, and revive the lost art of talking to people.
